Legal Question in Business Law in California
Worker with no SSN
I bought an operating small cafe. The chef speaks only Spanish and cannot verify his SSN. He's worked at the place for 5 years. What's my recourse to firing him because he might be illegal?

Re: Worker with no SSN
Have you considered that the reason why the cafe might be ongoing is because of the chef?
