Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

i am a 19 year old female and was not charged with anything. i was beat with a krobar by a man that dislocated my shoulder, who was not found. my friend was beaten with brass knuckles and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and from there had to be airlifted.

me and my friend do not have any medical insurance, and now we have really expensive medical bills. this happened at the movie theatre, cinemark movies 10. they had no surveillance cameras and none of their security gaurds helped us. i had to run to get help. so i want to sew cinemark movies 10, or their property manager. what should i do?

If you filed a police report, you might be able to be compensated by the State's Crime Victim's Compensation Fund (if there's still money available given the budget crisis).

You might write to corporate headquarters and explain what happened, and see how they respond. If this occurred within the theater, the corporation might wish to settle to avoid bad publicity.

It sounds like there's more to the story than you have divulged in your short post.
