my 6yr son was bitten by my dog now him and his mon are sueing my wife and are home ins plus my and his mom are going though a costudy battle

Your home insurance carrier is not a proper party to a lawsuit by a third party. Still, depending on your policy, the insurance carrier might be required to defend you (and perhaps pay any judgment), unless there's a dog exclusion.
