Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
Application Dispute
Last year I sent in an application to a local private high school. The school wrote on the application that they do not accept incoming seniors (I was an incoming senior), but I was given a application anyways by the admissions director with her knowledge that I was an incoming senior. When they declined me they said it was because they don't allow incoming seniors. Well, I found proof of them accepting several incoming seniors. Is that grounds for a lawsuit, or is it a stretch?

Re: Application Dispute
Unless you were rejected for a discriminatory reason -- race, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, etc. -- then the answer is "no".
