Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
in California, in a civil action, with 8 defendant's, named as parties, under one defendant hospital ~ do I (plaintiff) have to serve all 8 or just the respondeat superior ?

You must serve them all. Serving the hospital does not relieve you from the duty to serve everyone else separately.
