Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Car accident on the clock.

I work in Yorba Linda. My job decided to send me to Fountain Valley for training in my car while I was on the clock. I was rear-ended and my car was totalled. Is my employer financially liable at all?

Re: Car accident on the clock.

If you were injured, your employer might be required to provide you with workers' compensation.

The driver of the other vehicle is financially liable for damages and injuries caused by the accident. If you receive workers' compensation, you might have to reimburse WC from any recovery from the other driver or his/her insurance.
