car loan- theif on the lose

my mother got a car loan for a friend..(i know) Well everything is under my moms name and this girl hasn't made a payment! We have already been to the police but they say that they can't do anything. We call this person and hangs up our phone call and just aovids us.. to top this all off it not a honda its a Rover!!--name removed--help

Call a professional repo person. Or: Go to court for a "writ of replevin" and they will be in contempt of court and subject to arrest if they don't give back the car.
