Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
Behind on car payments
I am behind about 4 months on my car
payments and I want to return it to the
finance company. What should I do? I
don't have a job and I can't make the
payments.

Re: Behind on car payments
I deeply sympathize with your financial and employment situation. It seems that voluntarily returning your car won't help your credit any, so you might as well just park it in the driveway and wait.
If you're worried about possible embarrasssment in front of the neighbors, you could park it at the park-'n'-ride or other public place and call the lender to have it picked up.
