Does a private investigator have the

legal right to remove a minor from class

time to interrogate them without

parental consent?

A well-taught minor will politely tell a private investigator, or a police officer, social worker, etc. to go pound sand. I would think the school has no business admitting private investigators to the school grounds. To determine for sure would require drilling down into the Cal. Education Code.

Generally not. However, it may depend upon who sent the investigator there and the subject of the nvestigation. Has the child been traumatized or your reputation been injured by the incident? How is it that the school would allow this? Contact me directly.
