civil lawsuit
what does it means when the defendent issue a demurrer for a civil lawsuit? what should the plantiff do, if that demurrer is two weeks before trail? should the plantiff continue with the jury process just in case the demurrer is denied

A demurrer to the complaint cannot be filed after an answer has already been made to that same complaint. Consult with your attorney further as to what is really going on. (If you're just weeks out from trial and you have no attorney, then get one!)
