Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
Civil Rights
The Fontana Police entered my home and arrested me and took me to jail due to a 911 dropped call made by my husband. He never spoke to them. There was not a complaint. They said I resisted arrest and interferred with their investigation of why the call was made. The case was later dropped by the Fontana DA. I spent a night in jail for something I didi not do. Do I have grounds to sue.

Re: Civil Rights
Did you voluntarily admit them to your home? Or did they kick down the door? Did they have a warrant? Did you say anything to them? On what charge (other than resisting arrest) were you arrested?
