Hello.
I have a civil matter in court and I need to supeana a witness. i have the correct form and i am in pro per. do i need to have someone personally serve the witness or can the witness be served by mail?
also, is there a time limit of when i need to serve the witness? the trial is may 4th. finally, do i need to supply the plaintiff's counsel with my witness list?

Someone else -- preferably a registered process server -- should personally serve the subpoena. You might have to tender a check for mileage to and from court and the flat fee for testimony. Have it served as soon as possible, because others might have to rearrange their schedules to accommodate their court appearances.
