Confrence Calls

Is it legel for someone to call into a conferance call, uninvited, not let anyone know they are listening, and hang up without anyone knowing?

It's probably against some law, but where are you going with this? Do you want to sue them, or do you want to have them prosecuted? What are your damages? How are you going to prove who it was? How are you going to prove they knew this was a private telcon? Probably you ought to get a passcode-protected conference bridge of some kind, one that is accessed via a toll-free number so incoming callers' numbers can be captured by the system, and one that plays some kind of warning announcement to callers so they can't later claim they didn't know the telcon was private. I'm sure there are plenty of commercial telcon providers that offer all of these features.
