what can you do when you know cops are outside spying on someone? And what if you know them, what should you do?

The traditional way to alert one's homies of the impending arrival of law enforcement personnel is to shout, "Yo! Five-O, man!" But one does so in California only at risk of arrest and obstruction of justice charges. While, in my opinion, such statements are protected First Amendment speech, the California Court of Appeal has held otherwise.
