Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Ive entered paramedic school and they need a drug test from me. It was positive for thc(legal in ca for me) but then they said I can enter the school still for 11k. finished the classroom portion and then found out that I can not complete the program because of the drug test. had to take 4 months off and return pay them more money and finsh the program. I advanced in the program but have to complete the field internship in 22 shifts my trainer said I have to stay a few more shifts past 22 but the school said i cant they want me to sart over in 3 months and pay another 1500.
