Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Evidence

Hello.

I am going to trial in May for a breach of contract in civil court.

I was informed by the plaintiff 's counsel that tape recordings and witness to vouch on my behalf regarding the agreement are not acceptable evidence in the court. Is that correct?

Finally question, what type of evidence can I use as an exhibit to argue my case in trial?

Thank you

Re: Evidence

Since the trial date is in May, you still have time to serve interrogatories, requests for admission, demands for documents, and to take depositions of witnesses. You need to act quickly, because the discovery cut-off is fast approaching. Do not get your legal advice from the other side's attorney.
