Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
My family has recently been investigated by CPS for neglect and abuse. CPS immediately closed the two allegations because they were unfounded. The cps agent informed us that my childs school made the report and had written many things about my daughter going to school unclean, in wet pants, with dirty hair etc. The agent said even when she spoke with my daughter at school she was clean and had no marks and she even called the school quite dramatic. My military clearance and job could be affected because of the allegations so I was told by my supervisor we might have some ground to take legal action. Do we have any right to fight back the school or is my supervisor incorrect?

Yes, you can fight them, but it is not easy. There are a lot of immunities that applies to the CPS. Good luck.
Have an attorney write an appropriate letter to the school principal.
