Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

My fiance of 3 yrs died in my home. His childred have shut off the dish network and the time warner cable internet providers. The bills were in his name but I own the home. I was not notified that these items were being shut off.

I'm sorry for your loss. It would have been nice if they had communicated with you before doing so. In any case, you should be able to put those utilities in your own name.
