Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
I am trying to gain access to a storage unit. Its a complicated situation. The unit was rented under a false i.d. They police than seized the unit, later to release it. Does the fact that the police seized the unit prove the unit belongs to the righful owner, not the fake i.d. on the contract? The police went in since the rightful owner has a fourth waiver. I have power of attorney for the rightful owner but the storage facility is arguing the contract is all that matters. I am looking for an attorney to fight this case for me.

You may be able to fight your right to access but the relationship between the owner and the storage facility is not illuminated by what the police do. You will need to undertake other actions to get in but expect a fight.
