Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
Handcuffed
Hi,
I was pulled over for following another car. The driver called the police and the police pulled us both over. The police then proceeded to handcuff me although i had not comitted any crime. Is this legal? I was hancuffed for about 30 minutes and questioned extensively. On what grounds did the officers have to handcuff me?
Thank you,
Lauren

How it is possible that the police could question you "extensively" unless you volunteered to answer their questions? Don't talk to cops. View the YouTube video, "Don't. Talk. To. Cops."
