Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

this hapened to me today, at the job ive held for a little over a year

i was at work today 10-10-07, and it was really busy at around 8:20, ( i do valet parking at a restaurant in hollywood, Buddha's Belly) and a guy that usually comes around to do take-out at the restaurant,we usually let take outs use our loading zone in the front, but today was really busy and we couldnt let him use the loading zone so instead of listening to us and going to the spot we told him to he put his car in our private lot in a space that we needed, so i went to his window to tell him he couldnt do that, and he didnt open the window so i sort of went to knock on the door( he drives a range rover hse)and immediately he opened the door and said these remarks, '' dont ever touch my car, ill kill You Motherfuker!'' , '' do you not know who the fuck i am?'', '' I'ma blast the shit out of your little ass!'' , and then i told him it was our lot and if he did not listen and removed his car, i'd be forced to block him in, so he said , '' Block my car in and ima murder you, You Fukin little Craker!!'' along with many other remarks just like this. and for telling him exactly what i was supposed to do and doing my job, he complained to the manager about me and now the manager of the restaurant wants to have me fired, what do i do?

I would call the police and have this bozo arrested for making terrorist threats ("I'll kill you.") Since the guy apparently does not know who he is, maybe the police will identify him and tell him. If your job won't stand up to you against this nutball, time to move on.
