Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
Hi,
I want to sue public entity, " State of California' and " CSU". My claim was rejected, and i was victim of discrimination and violation of civil rights. I want to know the proceedings and procedure. which form is used to start a lawsuit against public entity in criminal filings? Is it LACIV109? Right now, i am analyzing my case? i will be needing a lawyer.
1 Answer from Attorneys
There is no form to start a lawsuit in a criminal case. The appropriate authorities would be to contact the district attorney and/or the state's attorney general. If you wish to file a civil case alleging discrimination and violation of civil rights, I would strongly urge that you consult with an attorney before taking any other legal action. Otherwise, it is likely that you won't get very far. These are very complicated and highly technical kinds of cases.
