Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Identity Theift

I have been thru Identity Theift. Police can't help and the person who did this and Ordered merchandise with my s.s # and the company who let them order it is not coperatting. Should I get a lawyer? Its not fair that thier getting away with $3200.00 worth of free stuff on my credit!! HElp

You might well be the type of person who would benefit from having a lawyer in this type of situation. For example, the police are not allowed to refuse to file an identity theft report. However, some people find the procedures to be complicated, and a lawyer would definitely be able to walk you through the process.
