Interest rates on debts

How much interest can I collect on a debt of $6,000 owed to me for 3 years in California?

If you win a judgment, $1,800 (10% simple interest per year). However, if the agreement was not in writing, the answer is $0, because your lawsuit would be barred by the 2-year statute of limitation.
