Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
i dont know what kind of law this falls under. but my mom was given 30 days to move she is being evicted by one of her oldest friends. they have know each other over 23 years. she was giving the 30 days notice on 10/20/2010. they wont let anyone in the house to help her move out. im her son and they say if i enter the house even as my moms guest they will have me arrested as a trespasser. they are not trying to tell her that if her stuff is not out by Halloween that they are gonna charge her storage fee. they told her that if she had anyone from county come in and help her with her daily life like shopping and all that what ever she needs help with that they would have her put out even if she called the cop on one of them and had a really good reason they would put her out. they are trying to charge her for a damaged door that one of the room mates there damaged cause they where mad at my mom and this room mate is know for his bad temper. the owner of the houses mother claims that he gave her all authority in the house. mom paid the mothers brother to put up some make shift walls in the house do they have to stay with the house or since the are easily taken down and not part of the code of the house can she take then down and taken them with her to erh no residence

Your mother is entitled to have others help her move out. The landlord cannot tell her who she can have as guests. You may want to call adult support services to intervene, or even call the police to assist with the move out.
