landlord did not give 30 day notice changed locks on 2nd day never served eviction papers or even termination of agreement papers

I'm not sure what you mean by 2nd day -- of what? Nevertheless, unless there was imminent danger (for which the landlord should have sought law enforcement assistance), the law does not permit the landlord to exercise self-help. You might immediately go to a tenants' attorney in your area to determine and protect your rights.
