my wife was drive up the hill our street when a neighborhood kid lost control of his skateboard and she ran it over. Was this a hit & run like the nieghbor mother was saying? was my wife legally responisbile to stop! who is at fault or this simply an accindent!

Thank goodness the child was not injured! I would side with you on this one. However, since it's a neighbor, maybe you can work something out so that there are no hard feelings.
