moms jewelry

my sister has my jewelry. i knownly knew when i gave it to her that she was going to pawn it. its been 4 mos and i havent gotten it back. since there is no will saying that it was left to me can i sue her or prosecute her for the jewelry

If it's your jewelry and you loaned it to her, she should give it back. If she doesn't, then you should send her a certified return receipt letter itemizing each of them, and demand their return by a specific date. If she then doesn't return them, you may bring a lawsuit. You should have their values estimated by a competent jewelry professional in writing before you go to court.
