Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
Can a non-profit (NCCA www.ncalcricket.org) that uses public property (city of santa clara, sunnyvale, san jose, ...) suspend their players for playing for another league?
NCCA is a non profit organization. It stands for Northern California Cricket Association. And there are other organization who runs cricket league. But now, NCCA restricts its players for playing in those leagues, even thought they use the city property for the sporting event.
Can someone clarify me if there is any law for non profit organization for restricting players for not participating in other leagues.
Thanks

I'm not aware of any restrictions on such decisions. However, if the suspensions were because of race or disability, for example, they might be of dubious legality.
