oc police confiscated two legally registered guns plus an assault rifle from my home from false call into police. no charges were ever filed they still have my guns and after one year of holding my guns all dismissed. do police have to give me attorney fees[ifso how much can i get] for holding my guns after 5days

Whether you should be awarded attorney fees would likely be up to a judge, but it shouldn't require a lawsuit to get these guns returned you under these facts as a well crafted letter to the U.S attorney's office for DC with a copy to MPD should be sufficient to accomplish this task.
