Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
Regarding the Occupancy Certificate.
Dear sir,
I am planning to buy a Apartment in Thane ( Mumbai - India ), This flat is 10 - 15 years old and the apartment owner told me that they donot have Occupancy certificate and no society is still formed.
But they have CC, with which many Banks like ICICI gives loan.
Any any one advise me whether it is safe to buy this apartment and whether this apartment is considered Illegal and can be demolished later.
Any input, advice or suggestion would be higly appreciated.
Thanks
Prabhu

Re: Regarding the Occupancy Certificate.
Hello.
You can go for a Sale Deed which normally is possible after examination of the land details which you may obtain from the concerned offices.
The best way is to check for a latest Sale in the said Flats.
