Opposing counsel deposition
My husband is acting as plaintiff in pro per. Can opposing counsel depose me (the wife) given that California has the marital privilege?

Opposing councel can indeed depose you.
He can even ask questions that would invade the marital privilege. It will be up to you to assert and defend that privilege in the course of the deposition, and in any subsequent motion to test your assertion of that privilege.
