Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

order for examination

Hello I lost a civil case and now the lawyer is having me come in for a examination, well at the time I lost the case I lived in ca now i live in il I have a court date this mo in ca , what can I do ? some people tell me just dont go and nothing will happen others say if you dont go you will go to jail ,I have already wrote the court and got no response, I have no money to go back to ca what can I do? thanks James

Perhaps you can call the other lawyer and ask if he/she could have someone do the examination in IL. There are collection attorneys all over the country.
