Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
My parents recently took my car and parked it somewhere I won't be able to find it. They have no intention of returning it to me anytime soon. I payed for the car completely with my own money that I made myself, and I payed up front. At the time, I did not yet have a license, so the car was put under their name. I now have my license but haven't yet put my name on the car. I would like to know what my legal rights are in returning the car to my posession. If need be, I'd like to take action as soon as possible because they have threatened to sell it.

Sounds like a family feud. You don't need a lawyer you need a counselor or referee.
If you are a minor they can do as they want. If you are an adult you could sue them for the value of the car they converted i.e. took in legalese. Either way there is probably something else going on that you are not telling us about and the law is not your solution to this problem.
Good luck.
