I got pulled over in california by a police officer who was very unkind, because I answered my phone. After he got done he told me he recorded the conversation. I know he did not record the nasty behavior he had only what I said

Some officers carry audio recorders; if you were cheeky enough to take a call during a traffic stop, he certainly could have recorded what you said and used it against you.
