Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Hi I had a question. Me and my ex broke up two months ago and his parents call my parents threatening them. Also my ex boyfriend keeps stalking me on facebook and messaging my friends on there asking about me. What should I do? I don't want to put a restraining order on him.

I imagine you told him to stop, and he has refused.

You may need to write a letter, threatening to bring a restraining order. Indeed, a restraining order is the only vehicle under the law that you could obtain to order your ex-boyfriend to stop.
