Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
Hi just a quick questions. If we do not wish to participate in a settelment and don't turn in the paperwork requested not do we refuse the settelement....what would the meaning mean below:
YOU WILL BE BOUND BY THE SETTLEMENT IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE YOUR ELECTION FORM ON OR BEFORE DATE..

.Just that if you do not send in the form you agree to be part of the settlement what ever it is. This is called an opt out form which you would use if you did not want to participate or opt out of a class action.
So if you want to be in the settlement then do not return the form.
