Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

quit deeding

I recently recieved a summons and complaint. I am being sued. I own two homes. Is it legal for me quit deed my interest in one of the homes to avoid any liens being placed on the home. I am not planning to file bankruptcy. I figure they can place a lein on my primary instead of the other. Also, when I go to file a quit deed will the attorneys be notified by the county that I've done so. I have until July 3rd to file my anwer which I plan to do only to buy time.

Re: quit deeding

Don't assume you don't have a defense to the lawsuit until you ask a lawyer. Maybe it can be settled.
