Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

I received a summons from the Superior Court of San Francisco on May 11, 2020. I the defendant was not the one signing the summons. Am I given another 10 days after the 30 days grace period?

No. It was the clerk of the court who signed the summons. Consult an attorney, or your insurance company if the lawsuit is covered by your auto or homeowners or renters insurance. Do not wait until the year 2020.
