Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
my school is set up digitally, which means that we do our homework on the computer. one day in school i went on gmail during class and my teacher caught me. he told to to ex it out and i got a detention, but 10 minutes later he came back and opened it up on my computer again (the password was saved) and he went through all of my emails and chats. does that violate my right to privacy? is that even legal without a warrent or suspicion for threatening content?
