Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

hello. i would like to know if i can sue my son's for filing ex parte without provide property notice? i ask because i live in texas and have to travel to california for the ex parte. 1 of them the court dismissed it because i proved proper notice was not giving. when the mother files these ex parte, i endure great expenses for last minute travel, lodging, and food. i am planning to put together an invoice with the expenses i incurr, send to the mother, i know she will not pay it, and then give her 30 days, still if it is not paid, file a civil lawsuit. Is that possible? Ah and I am in pro per. I can't afford a lawyer. I spend tons of money in child support, travel to CA every 2 weeks, lodging, car, and food in CA every 2 weeks for my visitations with my son. Thank you

How is it you can afford to travel from Texas, pay travel and lodging expenses, but you "can't afford" an attorney to go to court for you?
