Unlawful detainment of a minor
Can a store keep a child age 14 in the store for a period of time accusing that child of stealing something without contacting authorities or the minors legal guardian.

Yes, anyone can be detained in a store for a reasonable time.
A "reasonable time" is time suficient to conduct a brief investigation to see whether a crime has been committed.
