Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

unpaid care giver

I moved from los angeles to be care giver for my uncle , dying with lung cancer, he wants to dye at home, but his wife has anxiety problems and promised to take care of the household expenses, as well as pay 500.00 weekly as I had to give up my job. Then in Nov.2006 he got worst and falls down, so the Doc. said he now has to have 2 caregivers so he quit his job, and well she has not followed up on anything, from houshold needs , food, and certainly not paid me anything, its been 8 months now and i have used all my savings, and she still wont pay me... What can I do ???

Re: unpaid care giver

I'm not sure what you're asking. It sounds like you might want to seek appointment of you or someone else as a conservator of his person and his finances, and you need to go back to a paying job and your own life.
