Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
The water district has completely shut off my water for being a day late. I tried to pay them the very next day and they refused to take my payment because they said i signed a payment plan contract with them and so they said i was in default. I told them i have children and i need my water they still shut it off completely leaving it dangerous in case of a fire. Is this against the law?
