Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

If you are in jail you have to wear jail shoes :) Since California won't let you use your real estate, raise your kids, or run your business, it's not surprising to learn they will tell you what shoes you can and can't buy. As far as I am able to determine it is only illegal to sell Cane break rattlesnake boots in California and it is not illegal to buy, possess or wear them, but I could be wrong.
