Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
Won small claims case against a bank who has not paid judgment. Filed a Writ with the court and took to the Sheriff to serve, however, they are not sure if it is legal to do a "Till tap" on the bank. Is this a legal way to collect? If not, what else do you suggest? Thank you very much.

Thank bank must have their own checking account. The sheriff can execute and can levy on the Bank's operating checking account.

The sheriff has his head in the clouds. Of course you should be able to till-tap them. However, you have an almost equally practical remedy. Just record an abstract of judgment at the county recorder's office. When they sell a parcel of real estate, which should occur often, you'll get paid, with 10% interest.
