Legal Question in Technology Law in California
A 16 year old boy had a photo taken and posted on some type of website such as a dating website without his permission. Don't know website. Any recourse against kids who did this?

I mean, this sounds like kids being kids and doing some dumb stuff, it does not sound legally actionable for a reasonable person unless there is more to the story. If this however is only one part of what amounts to ongoing harassment then sure you could file a civil complaint for that, just don't expect to get much by way of damages and you may have to file against the parents.
Law enforcement is not going to get involved unless there was clear illegality like if the pics were indecent.
Kind regards,
Frank
