Bulk email on adult content CDs and new adult websites

Hi, I would like to know what or where I can find laws that pertain to sending bulk emails to inform the general public regarding new adult websites and sales of adult contect CDs. thank you very much.

Nevada, Washington, California and Virginia have all passed statutes regulating unsolicited email. Anyone who sends unlawful email to a resident of one of those jurisdictions may be liable even if he or she never set foot in that state. Other states may also have passed laws regarding spam.
