Buying a domain Name with False Who is Information

I have bought a domain name from someone that turns out to have given false Information both to me and to the Registrar. The domain name transfer has been done fairly and the who is information for that domain now shows my identity. Is my ownership of the domain name nevertheless at risk considering that I bought it from someone with bogus Identity ?

The payement has been done through egold therefore I cannot trace it to the real owner.

The domain won't be safe until you have it transferred into a registrar account to which you control access so only you can change the WHOIS information. You need to have the domain transferred at least into an account that you set up for that registrar.
