domain name lawsuit liability
a lawsuit has been filed against me for the rights to a domain name. there were no signed agreements. I do not recollect any payment to me for this domain name and i have no reciepts or records of such a payment. Am i liable?

Depends on the domain name. If you are using a name that has been trademarked, such as Pepsi, you cannot use that name as a domain name just because you signed up for it first.

You don't provide nearly enough facts for me to answer you one way or the other. What does the plaintiff say you did? Do you have a different recollection of events?
